Ear piercing??????

I have a question about ear piercing, I am really scared and so I was wondering if you can get your ear numbed before you piercing it......my friends told me that they dont do it, but is there any places where you can get your ears numbed before piercing them??????

1. It's part of the whole package. If they were going to do this for a minor, I would seriously question who was sticking a needle in me.
2. It doesnt hurt. Not at all and i have 7 piercings and only 2 of them are on my ears. rest of them are on my face or mouth.
3. hello!! This is food and drink question and you ask about your ear?? Well duh! anyway, try using ice cube, it work for me when i did myself!
4. No they don't noumb the ear.but it's just like a pintch or a bee sting.It sounds painful but it's not.

7. They do it with a gun. It is fast and painless.
8. they don't usually numb it anymore because they shoot the earrings in with a very precise ear "gun" so its quick and usually painless. you could ask your physican to pierce it and if they don't they could point you in the right direction. hope this helps you. good luck.
9. not usually. Its quick and your ears just get hot. It doesnt hurt.
10. The needle required for the Novocaine would be more painful than the piercing itself. It is near painless.
11. ya go to claires and it doesnt hurt at all or wal mart. i thought it would hurt but not really at all.
12. I don't know of any particular place, but when i pierced my ears (have doubles on both) the first time i bought a cream that numbed it. I bought that at Walgreens. Then the second time i put ice cubes on it for and hour before piercing. Switching ice cubes one melted (in a bag). It's just a small (painfull must admit) pinch and then like a heartbeat in your ear afterwards. I hope this helps!
13. helooooooooooooo.....this is food and drink section anyway, try getting a 'gun shot' its beter than ear piercing; the guy justs holds this equipment close to your ear and shoots , you don't feel a thing and voila!!.........her'es your piercing.
14. Not any places I know of. I just got my second in my ear about 3 hours ago and I was a tiny bit scared. My first hole was done when I was a baby so I didn't know what to expect, so 22 years later I went for another. It really doesn't hurt that much. It's like a bee sting. If you keep thinking it's going to hurt, it will. Be positive and good luck!
