Gauge Ear

ear gauges?

im up to a size 4 in ear gauges. I just started gauging last weekend and im already on 4. my 4 gauges came with plugs.. things that are wider on the ends and its smaller on the inside of the barrel.. I wanted to know how I put those in if the outside is wider? im confused

1. from the back of the ear instead of the front?
2. you just push em threw. those are kinda tricky though, cuz of the wide ends, so you might have to gage em bigger before you can get them in. i have my ears gaged to a 0 and bought 00 with the wide ends and cant get them threw. i think ill have to get some tapered 00's to get them stretched to that size then put the ones with the big ends in. but im still using the 0 for now. to the people that think gaged ears are freaky and unattractive-----to each his own, you cant make everyone happy, only yourself.
