What are the best ear plugs for sleeping and to block out talking?
My roommate talks all night and she's extremely loud and obnoxious. I bought Hearoes ear plugs from Wal-Mart and they don't work as well as I want. Any other ear plug suggestions that work really well but are ok to sleep in?

- try bose;sony;or JVC read for the sound blocker.
- i've heard that bose has a really good set of earphones that are good for listening to music with and for blocking out noise while sleeping
- skull candy are amazing. skull candy headphones allow you to only hear the music and nothing else. i was on an airplane once that was really loud and the guy in front of me was talking very loud and i put in my skull candy headphones and it blocked out everything. they rock. hop this helps. you can find them at places like target or anywhere i got them cheaper at marshalls. but check them out on google if you want to no more about them.
- when buying ear plugs they will always specify how many decibels (dB) they will reduce the noise. Try to get ones that are washable and reduce the dB more than 30dB. you should probably spend about $10 on a great pair. it sounds like you bought these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10533246 those are 33dB which is great but they might not be reusable very much. make sure that you are wearing them properly. if you are wearing them properly then you should be able to hear yourself chewing very very loudly. if you can you should try to find some reusable ear plugs. usually reusable ear plugs come with a small case so that you can store them during the day. scroll down on this page to see what a pair might look like. http://www.elvex.com/reusable-ear-plugs.htm
